Your Health Data. Your Privacy. Your Control.
Privacy-First Health Intelligence for Individuals, Patients, Employees and Residents
At Biomarks.ai, privacy is not an afterthought. It is foundational to how the platform is designed. Biomarks.ai is built around a simple principle: your personal health information belongs to you.
Whether you use Biomarks.ai independently, through a healthcare professional, aged care provider or employer, your Health Profile contains personal health information that should remain private and under your control.
Biomarks.ai enables individuals to complete digital health assessments, upload blood and urine test results, add MRI and imaging reports, complete health questionnaires and build a personalized Health Profile.
Your personal health information remains private. Organizations using Biomarks.ai receive access only to the information appropriate to their role and permissions, with organizational health intelligence designed around anonymized and aggregated reporting.
Your Health Profile Belongs to You
Every individual using Biomarks.ai receives their own private Health Profile.
This applies whether you are:
- A patient using Biomarks.ai with a healthcare professional
- An employee participating in a workplace health program
- A resident participating through an aged care provider
- An individual using Biomarks.ai independently.
Your Health Profile can contain sensitive information including health assessments, biomarker results, pathology reports, imaging reports, questionnaires and other personal health information.
You remain in control of your personal health data. Biomarks’ Terms also state that users retain ownership of their personal data.
Privacy for Patients
Biomarks.ai is increasingly used by clinicians and healthcare practitioners to help patients better understand their health, engage with preventative care and bring different sources of health information together.
Patients can complete relevant assessments and add health information to their Health Profile before, during or between consultations.
Biomarks.ai is designed to support the relationship between the patient and healthcare professional, not replace it.
Personal patient information should only be accessible or shared in accordance with the patient’s permissions and the applicable healthcare relationship. Biomarks.ai does not sell personal health information to employers, insurers or other organizations.
Privacy for Employees
Employers using Biomarks.ai do not receive access to individual employee health records.
Employers do not see individual:
- Blood or urine test results
- Medical or imaging reports
- Biomarker results
- Health Test assessment results
- Wearable information
Family health history - Other identifiable personal health information.
Instead, employers receive aggregated and anonymized workforce health intelligence designed to help understand broader health and wellbeing trends without identifying individual employees.
Biomarks.ai is not designed for individual health information to be used in hiring, termination, promotion, performance management or other employment decisions.
Privacy for Aged Care Residents
The same privacy-first approach extends to aged care.
Residents can participate in health assessments and build health information within their individual Health Profiles, while aged care organizations can use anonymized and aggregated insights to better understand health and wellbeing trends across resident populations.
Individual resident health records, uploads and other personal health information remain protected rather than being exposed through organizational reporting dashboards.
Privacy for Healthcare Organizations
Healthcare organizations can use Biomarks.ai as an AI Health Intelligence Partner to support patient engagement, preventative health and better-informed health conversations.
Biomarks.ai helps bring together assessments, pathology, imaging, questionnaires and other health information while maintaining clear separation between an individual’s private Health Profile and organizational-level analytics.
Where patient information is shared with a healthcare professional, access should be based on the patient’s authorization and appropriate clinical relationship.
What Organizations Can See
Depending on the Biomarks.ai program and appropriate permissions, organizations may receive anonymized and aggregated information such as:
- Population health trends
- Participation rates
- Changes in health and wellbeing trends over time
- Preventative health program effectiveness
- Aggregated health intelligence
- High-level organizational health indicators
The objective is to provide useful health intelligence without unnecessarily exposing identifiable personal health information.
AI With Privacy at Its Core
Biomarks.ai uses artificial intelligence to transform complex health information into personalized insights and broader health intelligence.
But using AI should not mean giving up control of your health information. Our approach separates personal health intelligence from organizational health intelligence.
Individuals receive personalized information about their own health.
Organizations receive appropriately permissioned information and, for population-level reporting, anonymized and aggregated insights designed to help identify broader trends.
This separation is fundamental to how Biomarks.ai is designed.
You Choose What You Share
Your Health Profile can become a valuable record of your health journey.
You may choose to share selected information with a healthcare professional, family member or another person you trust. You may also choose to publish selected wellness scores through features such as your public Biomarks Health Profile.
Sharing should always remain your choice.
Making a wellness score public does not mean making your underlying pathology reports, medical information or private Health Profile public.
Trust Is Essential to Better Health Intelligence
AI can help people understand their health, engage with preventative care and have better-informed conversations with healthcare professionals.
But that only works when people trust the technology holding their information.
That’s why privacy isn’t simply another feature of Biomarks.ai.
It is fundamental to the platform.
Whether you’re an individual building your Health Profile, a patient working with a clinician, an employee participating in a workplace health program or a resident receiving aged care, the principle remains the same:
Your health data. Your privacy. Your control.
Biomarks.ai provides AI-powered health intelligence while keeping the individual at the center of how personal health information is managed and shared.
